Shane Barrett added to his winner against St. Patrick's Athletic last time out with a brace at the Showgrounds as revitalised Drogheda stretched their unbeaten run to five games.

Striker Barrett shot past Richard Brush from Robbie Martin’s pass to give Drogheda a 15th minute lead.

Romuald Boco inspired Sligo’s comeback as he set up Raffaele Cretaro to level within five minutes before a super run to the end line to cross for skipper Conor O’Grady to head Rovers in front on 37 minutes.

Drogheda hit back right on half time when Danny Keohane pulled down Paul Crowley and Barrett shot home his second of the night from the penalty spot.
