UCD engineers design rocket programme for Euro Space Agency

Engineers at UCD are designing a new rocket launch programme to be used by the European Space Agency.

The Dublin University hope their project will solve the dangerous and expensive problems that excessive vibration during lift-off cause.

The technology could be the first Irish-designed rocket control programme to be used by the agency's next space mission before the year 2020.
