Two due in court in connection with €120k drug seizure

Two men are due to appear in court this morning charged in connection with the seizure of €120,000 worth of drugs in Dublin.

They were detained yesterday after cocaine worth €20,000 and cannabis with an estimated value of €100,000 were discovered in two searches in Dublin city centre and Ranelagh.

The men aged 35 and 49 are due before Dublin District Court today charged in connection with the investigation.

A 27-year-old woman who was also arrested as part of the operation yesterday.

She has since been released without charge and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
