Suu Kyi solidarity book to be opened in Dublin
A book of solidarity for Burmese pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi is being opened in Dublin today.
Lord Mayor Emer Costello will officially open the book at City Hall.
It will remain open to the public until 5pm tomorrow.
Ms Suu Kyi's house arrest was extended for 18 months last week as punishment for breaching the terms of her previous detention.
Critics say the move was designed to keep her silent during elections scheduled for next week.
