Poll shows rise in support for Labour and independents
There is good news for the Labour Party this afternoon with the latest political opinion poll showing a boost in support.
The Red C poll for the Sunday Business Post, carried out between last Monday and Thursday, shows support for Labour up two points to 11%.
The boost comes at the expense of Fine Gael, which is down one to 25%; Fianna Fáíl, also down one, to 21%; and Sinn Féin, which drops three points to 18%.
The poll of 1,500 voters also showed support for independents and others up three points to 25%.
