Nulty to contest by-election for Labour

Patrick Nulty is to contest the Dublin West By-Election for Labour, it has been confirmed today.

The 28-year-old already holds the position of Deputy Mayor of Fingal, and works for a housing and homeless charity.

The vote, to replace the seat once held by the former Finance Minister Brian Lenihan, who died earlier this year, will take place on the same day as the Presidential vote on October 27.
