NRA agrees to absorb exttra VAT charges

The National Roads Authority has agreed to absorb extra VAT charges due to take effect next week on State-owned tolls in Dublin.

The National Roads Authority has agreed to absorb extra VAT charges due to take effect next week on State-owned tolls in Dublin.

From the first of July, VAT at 21% will be applied to tolls at the West-Link Bridge on the M50, and Dublin Port Tunnel.

Motorists will not to pay extra for the moment, as the NRA will cover the extra cost.
