New stamp unveiled

A new 60c stamp celebrating Dublin's designation as a UNESCO City of Literature has been unveiled.

The bright yellow stamp was designed by Amsterdam-based Irish designers - the Stone Twins.

It features a short story written last year by Eoin Moore, then aged 17, who took part in Dublin's Fighting Words creative writing programme for young people.

It was selected from stories by primary and secondary school students - who sought to capture 'the essence of Dublin' in precisely 224 words.
