Man held following Mayo cannabis seizure

A man has been arrested after 30 cannabis plants worth an estimated €40,000 were seized in Co Mayo.

Gardaí from Belmullet carried out a search at a house near Bangor Erris this morning and made the discovery.

They also found a large drying chamber, fertiliser and liquid feed.

A man in his 20s was arrested and is being held at Belmullet Garda station.
