Man due in court in connection with woman's death in Dublin

A man is due to appear in court this morning charged in connection with the death of a woman in Dublin at the weekend.

The 37-year-old woman was found in an apartment on Sherrard Street at around 11am on Saturday.

She had suffered serious injuries, and died later at the Mater hospital.

A 44-year-old man was arrested on Sunday afternoon and held at Mountjoy station for questioning. He is due to appear in court in Dublin later.
