Man dies in tractor incident in Co Kerry

A man in his 50s has died after falling from a tractor in County Kerry.

It happened in Gortatlea, Mastergeehy, Killarney, at around 7pm yesterday evening.

The 57-year-old man was a passenger on the agricultural tractor and was fatally injured when he fell from the vehicle.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

His body has been removed to Kerry General Hospital where a post mortem examination will be carried out.
