A man has been charged with attempted murder following a shooting in Dublin earlier this month.

A man has been charged with attempted murder following a shooting in Dublin earlier this month.

25-year-old Dwayne Keane, of Drogheda Street in Monasterevin, Co. Kildare, was charged this evening at Dublin District Court in connection with the incident.

A 42-year-old man was seriously injured during a shooting incident on Raheen Drive in Cherry Orchard, Ballyfermot on the night of November 1.

Mr Keane was remanded in custody to appear before Cloverhill District court next Thursday, and no application for bail was made.

A request for legal aid was approved by Judge Grainne O'Neill.
