Limerick to get bike-sharing scheme next year

Limerick is getting its own bicycle-sharing scheme, based on the model of the hugely popular Dublin Bikes.

The scheme, featuring 23 docking stages housing 400 bikes, will be up and running in Autumn 2014.

Dublin Bikes has recorded over 3 million journeys since its launch in 2009.
