Kenny calls opposition leaders to EU briefing

Taoiseach Enda Kenny has invited the leaders of the opposition to government buildings tomorrow for a special briefing on the outcome of the European Summit in Brussels last Friday.

A spokesman for the Taoiseach said the meeting was an attempt by Mr Kenny to provide full information to all the parties in the Dáil.

On Friday, all EU member states except Britain agreed a deal aimed at saving the euro currency.

The Government is awaiting legal advice on whether the deal will mean that Ireland must have another referendum.
