Irish Water 'to be stopped from collecting PPS numbers'; charge to be capped at €200

It is reported Irish Water is to be stopped from collecting PPS numbers, and that water bills will be capped for three years.

As the Government tries to address public anger and concerns over water charges, the Sunday Times reports that responsibility for collection of PPS numbers will be handed to the Department of Social Protection.
