Gardaí warn of traffic restrictions near Prince concert
Motorists are being reminded today that traffic restrictions will be in place as thousands travel to Malahide Castle in Dublin later for the Prince concert.
Gates for the concert will open at 4pm this afternoon.
The Dublin R106 road in Malahide will be closed between the Swords Rd junction and the Main Street from 5pm today until 1am tomorrow morning. Local access will be maintained.
After the concert, diversions will be in place from 10.30pm tonight until midnight, with gardaí on point duty.
Traffic travelling from the North should exit the M1 Belfast-Dublin Rd at J4 Donabate.
Traffic travelling from M50 should take N32 and travel towards Malahide where they can follow concert signage.
There will be no on-street parking in the vicinity of the Castle Grounds. Limited parking can be accessed from the main entrance to Malahide Castle on the Back Road.
Irish Rail will also operate additional services for the day.
