Gardaí search for two raiders after Balbriggan attack

Three people were today recovering in hospital after a shooting in north Dublin.

Three people were today recovering in hospital after a shooting in north Dublin.

Two women and a man were injured in the gun attack in Balbriggan at about 8.40pm last night.

Three children were in the house at the time were not unharmed.

Gardaí said two men wearing balaclavas and armed with a shotgun entered the property and fired a number of shots before they fled in a car.

The injured women, aged 27 and 41, and the 26-year-old man were rushed to Beaumont Hospital. Their injuries are not life threatening.
