Fianna Fáil select Cllr Margaret Murphy O'Mahony for Cork South-West

Fianna Fáil have this evening selected Councillor Margaret Murphy O'Mahony to contest the forthcoming General Election in the Cork South-West constituency.

Over 400 delegates took part in the convention in Bantry, which was chaired by Fianna Fáil Vice President Timmy Dooley.

The second candidate up for selection was former Bandon Town Councillor Gillian Coughlan.
