Coastguard end search for missing ferry passenger

The coastguard has confirmed that it has concluded its search for a ferry passenger, believed to be missing off the coast of Wexford.

The coastguard has confirmed that it has concluded its search for a ferry passenger, believed to be missing off the coast of Wexford.

However, Gardaí at Rosslare are continuing to search the shoreline.

The alarm was raised at around 8.30am this morning, when the bus passenger, travelling with Eurolines on the Irish Ferries vessel, Isle of Inishmore, from Pembroke in Wales to Rosslare was not on board the ferry when it arrived in the Co Wexford port.
