Residents opposing Garth Brooks concerts picket Croke Park

Croke Park residents have picketed outside the stadium today voicing their outrage at plans for this summer's nine Garth Brooks concerts.

A forum took place to allow residents comment on issues ahead of the draft event plan submission to the city council, as part of the application for a gig license.

The Residents Alliance believe the number of concerts being held goes against previous agreements and will have a detrimental effect on the surrounding community for the duration of the concerts.

Patrick Gates from the Croke Park Residents Alliance said Croke Prak have not kept their side of the agreement.
