American Football fans mixed as Coldplay are announced as Super Bowl 50 half-time show

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has said headlining the half-time show at the Super Bowl 50 American football spectacular is the “greatest moment” in the band’s history.

The National Football League (NFL) revealed on Twitter the band would entertain the crowd during its flagship event at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, in February.
