Watch the moment a mountain biker crashes into a bear

They both got a fright.

Mountain biker Davis Souza was biking down the Mills Peak trail near Lake Tahoe in California last week when he crashed.

Right into a bear.

To be fair, it was quite small and hard to spot in the shadows but his helmet cam caught the whole thing. The clip contains NSFW language because, well, he crashed into a bear.

After colliding with the animal, Souza gathers himself and looks around but the presumably equally shook bear is gone.

He posted the vid to Instagram with the caption:

"This bear came out of nowhere and was gone before I could ask if it was alright or anything"

Luckily, he has it on video for anyone doubting his story.
