Survey: 81% of firms saw increase or stable level of business

Businesses believe that the two top priorities for the Government are stimulating the domestic economy (31%) and managing public finances, (29%), according to a new survey carried out by the Dublin Chamber of Commerce.

Businesses believe that the two top priorities for the Government are stimulating the domestic economy (31%) and managing public finances, (29%), according to a new survey carried out by the Dublin Chamber of Commerce.

The survey also shows that 81% of companies said their level of business either increased or remained stable over the past three months.

The outlook is even more positive for the next three years as 86% of companies expect levels of business to increase.

However, 35% of businesses also said their confidence in the Irish economy had fallen.
