ISEQ down almost 25 points


The ISEQ index of Irish shares registered a drop of 24.68 points in trading today, closing at 2,803.19.

Among the leading fallers were Paddy Power, down 46c to €17.10; CRH, falling 25c to €17.50; Irish Life & Permanent, slipping 14c to €3.16; Glanbia, 9c off at €2.40; Tullow Oil, down 8c to €11.34; C&C, down 7c to €1.97; Smurfit Kappa, also down 7c, to €4.02; Ryanair, falling 6c to €3.36, and Greencore, also slipping 6c, to €1.01.

On the risers' board, insurer FBD added 32c to €6.62 and Kingspan climbed 13c to €4.50.
