IBEC confident of economic growth
There has been a significant jump in confidence in the domestic business sector.
New figures published by IBEC today found that companies are more upbeat on domestic recovery.
Now the group, which represents Irish business, says its vital that tentative signs of recovery are not undermined by tax increases.
Chief Economist with IBEC, Fergal O'Brien, says although challenges remain, companies are more optimistic for the future
"The second half of the year will be stronger. On the exports side, we're seeing our main trading partners have a tough 12 month period but sentiment is moving in the right direction and I think we will see most of the main economies back in growth towards the end of 2013. That will help out exports market."
