Chin chin…Sales of bubbly up 30%

Sales of sparkling wine jumped over the Christmas and New Year period.

Some sellers are reporting an increase of 30%.

Despite the increase, the National Off Licence Association said drinkers were becoming more choosy, and shopping around to find the best value bubbly.
