A 17-year-old girl has died after the car in which she was travelling collided with a bus in Dublin yesterday.

The incident happened on the Greenhills Rd in Walkinstown at around 5pm.

The victim, who was the front-seat passenger in the car, was fatally injured when the car collided with a Dublin Bus vehicle operating the route from Clare Hall to Jobstown. It was carrying seven passengers at the time. She was brought to Tallaght Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
