After the drubbing their seniors took on Sunday, Laois showed there is plenty of spirit left in the county with a wonderful win over Dublin in the Bord Gais Energy Leinster U21 HC quarter-final last night.

Ben Reddin’s injury-time goal capped a frantic end to the game, as the reigning Leinster champions were beaten.

Dublin had led for most of the game, but Laois hung on before producing some exceptional hurling in the last ten minutes.
