Girl, 14, faces murder charge

Indianapolis police say a 14-year-old girl found covered in blood faces a preliminary murder charge in her four-year-old cousin’s stabbing death.

At 11pm on Saturday, police were called to an apartment where they found the bleeding boy.

He was later pronounced dead.

Police later found the 14-year-old girl, covered in blood and walking along a nearby street.

She is being held at the Marion County Juvenile Detention Centre.
