Ireland to London flights to operate as normal

FLIGHTS from Ireland to London’s main airports are expected to operate as normal today despite a series of fatal terrorist explosions in the city yesterday morning.

Although many air travellers missed flights out of London yesterday because of disruption to public transport services, all scheduled flights to Ireland from the city’s five main airports were unaffected by the bomb attacks.

It is believed several hundred passengers travelling to Irish airports missed their intended flight, largely as a result of the suspension for several hours of express shuttle services to Heathrow and Stansted.
