GAA to investigate vanished ticket affair

CROKE PARK have begun an internal probe into the embarrassing disappearance of over 1,000 tickets for the All-Ireland hurling final.

Areas in the Cusack Stand were vacant on the biggest day of the hurling calendar, causing red faces for GAA authorities.

GAA spokesman Fergal McGill said: “It will be well into the week before we are clear on what went wrong.
