Over €1m guide price on Grenagh farm

THREE miles from the village of Grenagh, now growing steadily as a residential area, and 12 miles from Cork city, a 98 acre farm at Ballyglass is new to the market with joint agents Maurice Cohalan of Cohalan Downing and Brian Olden of Lisney.

All in one block, the farm sale includes a yard and a traditional, three bedroomed farmhouse, and carries a guide price in excess of €1 million. There is road frontage on one side, and the house and yard are set in the middle of the holding, with access via a long driveway which runs on to the far end of the farm.

The land is laid out in largish divisions, and has been used for grazing, with 18 acres under forestry also, says Maurice Cohalan.

The yard has a useful range of out-offices, mostly older buildings set around the farmhouse.
