Leinster squad go back to school for rugby lecture

SOME of the Leinster squad went “back to school” yesterday and visited a secondary college in Tallaght to impart advice to the next crop of rising stars.

Kieran Lewis, Niall Treston and& John Lyne visited Firhouse Community College and passed on some of their experiences to the students.

The players spoke about the importance of education, training, preparation and the benefits of being a professional rugby player.

They also answered questions relating to diet, playing for Leinster and the day-to- day life of a professional rugby player.

The Leinster Branch gave a number of tickets to the pupils for the Celtic League game against Cardiff Blues in Donnybrook tomorrow night.

This is the fourth in a series of visits made by the squad to schools in Leinster.
