Friday, March 19, 2010

IRELAND’S second game of the forthcoming Summer tour down under will be against New Zealand Maori on Friday June 18. The game will help mark the Centenary of New Zealand Maori.

The three-match Centenary Series take place in June within weeks of the anniversary of the first ever match involving an official New Zealand Maori team in 1910.

Ireland open their tour against New Zealand on Saturday June 12 in New Plymouth; Declan Kidney's side then play the Maori on June and conclude their tour against Australia in Brisbane on Saturday 26 June.
