Gravesen’s agent unaware of any City deal

THOMAS Gravesen’s agent has denied reports suggesting Manchester City has opened talks with Real Madrid with a view to signing the Denmark midfielder at the end of the season.

Gravesen has been linked with a move back to the Barclays Premiership after failing to make much of an impact at the Bernabeu since joining the Spanish giants, from Everton, in January 2005.

“I know nothing about Real Madrid having agreed a transfer fee with another club,” the player’s agent John Sivebaek told Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet.

Gravesen is under contract with Real Madrid until June 2008.
