Flashy Beau can continue on his winning way

FLASHY BEAU, a horse who has done us proud in the past, may be worth risking again in the Supermac's Handicap at Ballinrobe tonight.

Ger Lyons' gelding is on the upgrade, on a hat-trick and more than capable of running another big race.

He has improved for each step up in trip and now tackles two miles for the first time. Flashy Beau scored over a mile and a half at Roscommon and then beat Tous Les Tables a cosy three parts of a length over a mile and six at Fairyhouse.

The five-year-old has gone up 11lbs for those successes. Danehill Diamond, fourth in the Fairyhouse event, boosted the form at Limerick on Friday night and there is every chance the selection remains ahead of the handicapper!

The Sheridan Electric Castlebar Maiden Hurdle is probably best left to Noel Meade's four-year-old, Masrahi.

He was less than reliable when trained on the flat by John Oxx and has take his time as well over jumps for Meade.

He did, however, hint that a contest such as this was within his compass when a close third to Articulation and Anlon at Clonmel earlier in the month.

Joe Crowley's Sher One Moor looks the one to be on in the Bumper. This is a drop in class, following his sixth to Nicky Henderson's Its a Dream at the Punchestown Festival.

Barella, third to Cepangie and Auburn Lodge at Limerick on Friday, has possibilities off bottom weight in the Joe Heneghan Car Sales Handicap.
