ABOUT 200 Irish troops from the 102 Battalion will deploy to Chad tomorrow in the final phase of a scheduled rotation with the 101 Battalion.
The first half of the 400 strong battalion travelled to Chad last month.
Commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Mick Murray, the battalion deploys after months of training which concluded with a ministerial review in Dundalk. The tour of duty will last for four months, ending in June.
