Inquiry outrage

THE holding of the investigation into the banking crisis behind closed doors is an outrage.

It is an effort to undermine this democracy’s power to hold powerful people to account.

Yet we have people like Lorcan Price accusing those who object of “grandstanding” and “political posturing” (Letters, January 23).

When he tells us to “please move on” he is in effect telling us peasants to shut up, our lords and masters have spoken and we should bow the head.
