I AGREE completely with the thrust of George Dwyer’s letter (‘Snip the Oireachtas’, July 21), but it is not correct to say Bord Snip ignored the number of TDs and senators.
In fact, it recommended we should consider government based on a single house. In other words the abolition of the Seanad.
