Ingredients

  • 200g orzo

  • 2.3l water

  • 1½ tsp salt

  • 15-30g butter

  • salt

  • pepper

  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)

Method

  1. Bring the water to a fast rolling boil and add the salt.

  2. Sprinkle in the orzo, cook for 8-10 minutes or until just cooked.

  3. Drain, rinse under hot water, toss with a little butter.

  4. Season with freshly ground pepper and garnish with some chopped parsley.
