Chilli chicken wings
These spicy, garlicky wings are great served with a big green salad full of roasted vegetables with a yoghurt dressing and some crunchy bread

Ingredients
1½kg chicken wings
4 garlic cloves, crushed
dash of rapeseed oil
2 tsp mild chilli powder
½ red chilli, finely chopped
3 tbsp honey
3 tbsp cider vinegar
bunch of thyme, removed from the stalk and chopped
Method
Toss the chicken wings with all of the other ingredients and some seasoning and spread them out on a baking tray. Bake in an oven heated to 180°C.
After 20 minutes toss the wings. Bake for another 10 minutes.
Then turn the heat up to 200°C for another 10 minutes of cooking. Make sure they are cooked through.
