Ingredients

  • For the shortbread base:
  • 175g plain flour

  • 75g cornflour

  • 175g cold butter

  • 75g caster sugar

  • For the cranberry filling:

  • 250g cranberry sauce

  • Zest of an orange

  • For the crumble topping:

  • 175g soft brown sugar

  • 175g plain flour

  • 150g butter

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • A little grated nutmeg

  • 50g flaked almonds

  • Zest of an orange

  • To finish the bars:

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • 2 tsp orange juice

  • 60g icing sugar

  • Handful of dried cranberries

  • Some strips of orange zest
