Triple Chocolate French Toast

Method

  1. Spread 8 slices of bread with the Nutella then pair into 4 sandwiches.

  2. Crack the eggs into a wide bowl and whisk with the cocoa powder.

  3. Preheat the oil in a non-stick frying pan on a medium heat.

  4. Take 1 sandwich and dunk both sides into the egg mixture, making sure it is coated on all sides.

  5. Fry the sandwiches, one by one.

  6. Serve with plenty of fresh berries, yoghurt and a sprinkling of choco-rice cereal on top.

  • 1 jar chocolate hazelnut spread/Nutella

  • 5 eggs

  • 20g cocoa powder

  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil

  • Fresh berries and sliced fruit

  • 100g vanilla yoghurt

  • 100g cocoa pops or similar
