Ingredients

  • 140g basic pizza dough

  • 3 tbsp basic tomato sauce

  • 55g fresh, hand-rolled Mozzarella, torn into pieces or diced

  • 15g Parmesan, freshly grated

  • 1 garlic clove, very finely sliced

  • basil oil

  • 8 fresh basil leaves

  • salt, to taste

Method

  1. Place the pizza tile on the floor of the oven and preheat to maximum for one hour.

  2. Stretch the dough into a 20cm circle. Spread the tomato sauce over the pizza, 10mm in from the rim. Scatter the Mozzarella slices on top of the sauce. Sprinkle on the Parmesan and garlic and drizzle with the basil oil.

  3. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 mins. Serve garnished with the basil leaves.
