Crab gratin with Brie and panko

Method

  1. Heat the grill on your oven to high.

  2. In a small saucepan, bring the cream to a boil and simmer for roughly five minutes. Add the crabmeat and simmer for a further two minutes.

  3. Remove from the heat and fold in the brie and chives and season with salt and black pepper.

  4. Transfer the mixture into a medium sized casserole dish and sprinkle over the Parmesan and panic breadcrumbs.

  5. Place under the grill for one to two minutes until the top is golden brown and the mixture underneath is bubbling.

  6. Serve hot with crusty bread.

  • 120g mixed crabmeat

  • 100g Brie

  • 1-2 tbsp fresh chives, chopped

  • salt

  • 50g Parmesan, grated

  • 2 tbsp panko breadcrumbs
