Specialist gangland gardaí have seized an estimated €350,000 in cash in an operation in Dublin’s north inner city this evening.

It is understood an Eastern European national was arrested when officers swooped in the Blackhorse area near Stoneybatter.

The operation was conducted by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau.

It is the latest operation by the bureau against gangs involved in large scale drug dealing and associated money laundering.

More details are expected to emerge later.
