Watch: A new sculpture dedicated to the Chornobyl nuclear disaster installed at the Marina Park

The sculpture named 'Chornobyl Mother' by Sandra Bell was installed at the Atlantic Pond, Marina Park. The sculpture acknowledges the 40 years since the nuclear disaster at Chornobyl, in April 1986, that changed the lives of so many, and where Irish volunteers were instrumental in providing humanitarian aid and support to those affected. A ceremony to unveil a sculpture to commemorate and honour the victims and survivors will take place on Monday.
