Gardaí in Dublin have released the two men arrested yesterday following the fatal stabbing of another man in the Killester area of the city.

Twenty-three-year-old Paul Howe, from Tallaght, was stabbed as he tried to escape following a botched robbery at a Supervalu store.

He was rushed to Beaumont Hospital, where he later died.

Two men in their 20s and 30s were held in connection with the incident, but they were both released last night pending instructions from the DPP.
