Grant Thornton, new development role for its multinational platform
New roles with Grant Thornton: Paddy Dillon and Gareth Cosgrove.
Paddy Dillon has been appointed as the head of corporate development for the Grant Thornton Advisors multinational platform.
In this newly created role, Paddy will lead origination and execution of M&A activities for the rapidly expanding platform. Paddy will remain a partner within Grant Thornton Ireland’s deal advisory practice.
Meanwhile, Gareth Cosgrove has been promoted to head of deal advisory in Ireland. Gareth, who joined Grant Thornton Ireland in 2014 and became a partner in 2021, specialises in transaction advisory services and M&A on both buy-side and sell-side engagements.
Paddy, based in Dublin, joined Grant Thornton Ireland in 2005. He has led impressive growth in the firm’s M&A capabilities over the years. As head of deal advisory in Ireland, Paddy has been extensively involved in multi-jurisdictional engagements, positioning him as an ideal candidate for this new role.

It also includes Auxis (a pioneer in outsourcing and business modernization services) and Stax (a specialist in commercial due diligence and value creation).
