Executive shuffle as OFX names new managing partner
O’Flynn Exhams moves: Shane Crossan with Micheál Ó Mulláin, the firm's new managing partner.
Cork-based law firm O’Flynn Exhams has appointed Micheál Ó Mulláin as the firm’s managing partner. He takes over the role from Shane Crossan.
Mr Ó Mulláin will continue to head up the real estate, banking and finance team. From Blarney, in 1995 he completed a Law degree in UCC, and joined O’Flynn Exhams LLP in 1999. A registered tax consultant and multilinguist, he is qualified as a lawyer in Ireland, Northern Ireland and England and Wales and is regularly recommended in the Legal 500 list of “go-to” lawyers in his practice areas.
Outside of work, he is a member of St Finbarr’s Athletic Club and has completed numerous marathons and mountain races throughout Europe. He is a participant and a volunteer with the Irish Mountain Running Association (IMRA) and also coaches underage teams at Blarney GAA and Camogie Club, and Blarney United AFC.
Mr Ó Mulláin said: “I would like to thank my predecessor Shane Crossan for his sterling efforts during his tenure. The firm currently has six trainees and will be increasing that number throughout 2026 with a view to developing talent that has the firm’s client-focused culture ingrained from the outset of their careers.”
Shane Crossan congratulated Micheál on his appointment.
