Accountancy and financial advisory Ifac has acquired practices in Cork, Cavan, and Westmeath as it continues its growth strategy.Â
Ifac is one of Ireland’s top ten accountancy and advisory firms, with specialist professional services for farming, food, agribusiness, and SMEs. It has acquired Michael G Murphy Accountants in Charleville in Co Cork, along with Con Dolan Accountants in Cavan, and Peter Moore & Co in Mullingar, Co Westmeath.
The acquisition of Michael G Murphy Accountants will see the Charleville firm join with ifac’s Mallow office, expanding coverage across North Cork, West Limerick and the wider Munster region.
Meanwhile Con Dolan Accountants, established in 1989, enhances ifac’s presence across Cavan and the wider border region, and will be integrated with the existing Ifac Cavan office. Peter Moore & Co strengthens Ifac’s advisory offering in the Midlands.
“These three acquisitions represent another important milestone in our national growth journey," said Ifac chief executive John Donoghue. "Each firm has built a strong reputation for trusted, high-quality advice and deep local relationships. That alignment of values is critical for us. As one of Ireland’s top ten accountancy and advisory firms, our strategy is clear: to combine a strong local presence with national scale and specialist expertise."
Ifac has a nationwide network of over 30 locations and a team of 600 professionals, serving 30,000 clients, and evolving from a specialist agricultural advisor into one of Ireland’s largest accounting, tax, and business advisory firms.Â
